A Statement from Our Founders...
At Vegas RV Adventures, our goal is to provide our guests with a unique and memorable travel experience, which cannot be achieved without keeping the safety of our guests and staff first in mind.
Like all of you, we are closely monitoring the circumstances surrounding the spread of the coronavirus disease, (aka COVID-19).
As the situation continues to evolve, we will continue looking for guidance from the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) to shape our decisions regarding upcoming guest travel as well as recommended safety practices for our RVs and we will do our part in preventing the spread of COVID-19.
We understand that this issue is cause for concern to many, and our deepest sympathies go out to all who have been affected already. We assure you that as the situation continues to develop, we will make our decisions with the health and well-being of our guests, staff and the public as our highest priority.
We would like to share with you our cleaning process to prepare for your upcoming trip.
Thoroughly cleaning procedures are already in place for our RVs, and is a best practice always, but with easily spreadable viruses, we have looked for ways to take it up a notch. There is no way to over clean, after all!
Using the CDC guidelines as our starting point, we have immediately implemented the following cleaning and disinfecting steps:
We have eliminated all glassware/dishware. We provide sterile single-use, packaged paper and plastic products for your safety.
We run all pots, pans and utensils through the dishwasher twice on the sanitize feature and then dry on high heat.
Our flippers use single use gloves and masks. (again, we may substitute with other recommendations, depending on supply)
Upon return, all linens are bagged into disposable plastic bags without shaking, for transport to commercial cleaners.
Interior of the coach and exterior is sprayed down with antibacterial spray and left in quarantine for 4 days.
As recommended by CDC, we wipe all hard surfaces, including counters, faucets, door/drawer handles, appliances, toilets, showers, shower curtains, RV’s steering wheel, dash controls, and door handles etc (AFTER regular cleaning). We use only EPA approved household disinfectants for hard surfaces OR our own 50/50 solution of 70% alcohol and water (depending on supply).
We have reviewed our chemical labels, and upgraded our laundry soap to hospital grade soap, which we provide to our commercial linen/laundry service along with instructions to wash and dry on highest heat settings.
While traditional vacation travel to most tourist destinations would be irresponsible right now, RV-ing does by nature, practice social distancing. Many guests are attracted to RV-ing largely to avoid long lines and big crowds. Fully self-contained RV’s allow the freedom to create a unique and responsible travel option, limited only by your imagination.
You will be dictated by your own circumstances to get here, but we want to assure you that Vegas RV Adventures continues to be the cleanest, safest, RV vacation experience available for you.
